Slick Spots And Semi Fire Keep Deputies Busy This Morning In Putnam County

PUTNAM COUNTY, Ind – Deputies in Putnam County had a busy morning Monday.

Officers reported several accidents and a semi-truck fire occurring within just a few minutes of each other. Accidents occurred on North US231 and South Manhattan. The semi caught fire as it was taking the on ramp onto West I70 from US231.

Police say that no one injured.

Roads that were wet and slick in spots were responsible for most of the problems.
