Driver Identified In Monday Night Fatal Crash

TERRE HAUTE, Ind – Terre Haute Police have released more in formation in a Monday night crash.

Police say that they tried to stop a driver traveling at a high rate of speed on 13th Street near Wabash around 11:00 p.m.

The driver tried to flee and eventually crashed into a tree.

The vehicle flipped ejecting the driver who was the only one in the car.

28 year old Kem Poke was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Police say that there was no active pursuit involved in this incident.
