VERMILLION COUNTY, Ind – Last Saturday (1/26/19) around 3:30 P.M. officers from the Vermillion County Sheriff’s Office and Clinton City Police Department went to the Clinton Apartments on South 11th St. Clinton after receiving tips about a wanted person living in the apartments.

Officers say that 35 year old Kristen Shomo was found hiding in the bathroom and was taken into custody without incident for a Vermillion County Warrant for revocation of probation.

While officers were clearing the residence, items associated with drug use were observed in plain sight.

Officers also found items associated with methamphetamine use.

46 year old Robert Archbold was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia and illegal possession of a syringe.

Archbold is being held at the Vermillion County Jail with bond set at $10,000 with 10 percent allowed.  Shomo is being held at the Vermillion County Jail with no bond.
