County Council Discusses Convention Center Financing

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Tuesday night the Vigo County Council held a special meeting to discuss some of the financial details on a new convention center to be built in downtown Terre Haute.

The project will be paid for through an interlocal agreement between the county, city, capital improvement board and redevelopment commission all paying for parts of the convention center.

The agreement must be presented to each group.

Tuesday night was only informational and for questions to be answered.

A vote to approve the agreement will be held on April 2nd at the Vigo County Annex.
