TERRE HAUTE, Ind – A Terre Haute man was sentenced to 35 years on prison Wednesday for molesting a child.

25-year-old James Freeman lived with the victim and family at the time of the incident.

State police say Freeman detailed the incident to someone else on social media.

They also confirmed Freeman has a tattoo of the victim’s name on his shoulder. The defense asked for leniency due to Freeman’s history of mental illness.
