MARSHALL, Ill. – Work continues on the new Marshall, Illinois community pool.

Organizers hope to have an open house in mid-May, followed by an opening before Memorial Day.

Weather or other problems could slow down the opening.

Crews have been painting this week in the nice weather.

It has to dry before it can be filled with water.
