CLARK COUNTY, Ind.  – Police across the country are reminding drivers to slow down and move over when an emergency vehicle is stopped along the side of the road.

Currently officers are stepping up efforts to remind drivers to move over and they are actively writing tickets.

According a Department Facebook post, the Clark County Illinois Sheriff’s Department made 10 traffic stops in less than two hours for not moving over.
