East Bound I-70 Will Be Down To One Lane East Of U.S.41 Next Week

VIGO COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation says that the I-70 eastbound right lane will close just west of U.S. 41 on or after Monday, April 22.

Work to repair the eastbound approach slab prior to the bridge is expected to take about one week to complete.

This is part of the $6.9 million project that includes replacing the decks on the bridges over U.S. 41, Thompson Ditch and the Indiana Railroad. The project is scheduled for completion at the end of this month.

INDOT reminds motorists to follow the posted work zone speed limit, use caution and consider worker safety when traveling through a construction zone.
