I-70 Work Continues In Hendricks County This Week With Some Lane Closures

HENDRICKS COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation will continue work on I-70 that will close lanes beginning Wednesday, May 1 in Hendricks County.  The contractor plans to begin in the westbound lanes between State Road 267 (Exit 66) and State Road 39 (Exit 59) and close one lane overnight from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. Sunday through Fridays. The contractor will be only closing less than one quarter of one mile each night in the area they will be working. Once westbound is complete the contractor will move to the eastbound lanes.

Milestone Contractors, L.P. was awarded the $5.3 million contract.   The project on I-70 includes full depth concrete patching from S.R. 39 to S.R. 267 and resurfacing the interstate from S.R. 267 to the Ronald Reagan Parkway (Exit 68). The project is scheduled to be completed September 30 of this year.
