PUTNAM COUNTY, Ind – Putnam County Emergency crews were called to a serious motor vehicle crash on US231 just North of I-70 Thursday morning.

A small passenger car traveling northbound crossed the center line striking a southbound semi tractor-trailer head on.

The driver and 2 children in the passenger car were seriously injured and transported to Indianapolis hospitals.

The semi driver was treated at Putnam County Hospital.
