INDIANAPOLIS — No measles vaccine? No thank you, says Franciscan Health.

The measles outbreak has led Franciscan Health to place temporary restrictions on visitors at its Indy and Mooresville hospitals.

If you didn’t get the measles vaccine, Franciscan wants you to stay away from the labor, delivery and postpartum units as well as the newborn nursery and neonatal ICU.

Non-vaccinated visitors are being asked not to visit Mooresville’s special care nursery and the pediatrics, oncology and bone marrow transplant units in Indianapolis.

Only one person in Indiana has been confirmed to have the measles this year, but more than 760 have been reported nationwide.
