INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Zoo has revealed sad news. Another elephant has tested positive for a deadly virus. 13-year-old African elephant Kedar has the virus called EEHV that causes a fatal disease in elephants.

The Indy Zoo is bringing in people from the Smithsonian National Zoo to do treatments on Kedar and monitor the other elephants.

Two other elephants died at the Indianapolis Zoo in March.
