CENTERPOINT, Ind.  – Duke Energy employees took part in their ‘Volunteer In Action Days’ last Friday.

Its an event where workers go to places in the community and offer their help.

On Friday, 45 of those workers went to the Exotic Feline Rescue Center in Centerpoint, where did everything from planting trees to building cages for the animals.

Organizers say the number of volunteers would have been almost double, but many were repairing damage from Thursday night’s storms.
