CRAWFORDSVILLE – Indiana State Police are investigating a police action shooting in Crawfordsville.
Just before 1:00 a.m. this morning (5/22/19) Crawfordsville Police were to a residence about a domestic/suicidal situation.
Shortly after officers arrived, the suspect was confronted and reportedly pointed a handgun at the officers and in self-defense, one of the officers fired at the suspect hitting the suspect at least once.
The suspect was taken to a local hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
No officers or anyone else was injured in the incident.
No other details have been released and the investigation is continuing.
