INDIANA – A Clinton funeral director who crashed while driving drunk has had his state license revoked.

52 year old Matthew Fitzhum was also fined $6,000.

Fitzhum was transporting a body when he crashed his van on I-70.

A blood test showed that he had a BAC of .273% at the time.

He pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol level over .15%.

He was sentenced to one year in the Putnam county jail but 355 days were suspended.

He also entered into a plea agreement for not depositing money he was given to set up a pre-need funeral account.
