TERRE HAUTE, Ind.  –  A Terre Haute attorney has abruptly retired amid allegations of wrongdoing.

William Olah last worked for Wilkinson, Goeller, Modesitt, Wilkinson & Drummy law firm in Terre Haute and retired at the end of April.

He then started his own law practice.

On June 11th Olah has surrendered his license to practice law.

He allegedly misappropriated large amounts of the firms moneys.

Client money is not believed to have been involved.

Since Olah is no longer an attorney he will face no action by the state Indiana Disciplinary Commission.

Olah was the attorney handling the request to rezone part of the former Stu’s Golf Course property to be used as a site for the new Vigo County Jail.

Another attorney will now need to be selected to handle case.
