Police Look For Burglary Suspects Who Hid In Mall Until It Closed

TERRE HAUTE, Ind – This past Saturday (6-15-19) around 10:15 pm, Terre Haute Police Officers were called to the Vendors Village store at Honey Creek Mall after an alarm had gone off.

Officers say that when they arrived they found that someone had allegedly been in the store for several hours and hid until the store was closed.

Once the store had closed the suspects proceeded to gather items to take until they were spotted by a mall security guard.

The suspects then beat the security guard, broke the doors of the mall to exit the facility, and then fled in a gray Honda Minivan with Pennsylvania Plates.

Police later located the van, and caught up to it when it crashed at 41 and Jessica Dr.

The suspects then fled on foot.

They are described as a Hispanic male and Hispanic Female.

There was a third Hispanic male waiting in the van for them in the parking lot of the mall.
