Indiana Abortion Law Blocked

INDIANA – Indiana’s new ban on second trimester abortion–which would have taken effect today (7/1/19), has been blocked by a federal judge.

The ACLU sued on behalf of two doctors who perform “dilation and evacuation” abortions.

Critics call it “dismemberment” abortion.

Judge Sarah Evans Barkier granted the preliminary injunction after the U-S Supreme Court declined to reinstate a similar law in Alabama.
