VIGO COUNTY, Ind – A Vigo County teen was sentenced in Vigo County Court after pleading guilty to criminal confinement and sexual battery.

18 year old Davis Atterson will spend seven years in prison for attacking elderly woman.

Atterson was 17 at the time of his arrest but was waived into adult court.

Charges of rape and domestic battery were dismissed as part of the deal.

Atterson was ordered to complete to undergo substance abuse and mental health treatment programs while in prison.
