CASEY, Illinois – Casey Police continue to try and identified the remains of a woman found on October 18th, 2013.

The decomposed woman’s body was found along the west bound entrance ramp to I-70 (Mile Marker 129) off of Illinois Route 49 by Illinois Department of Transportation personnel.

The woman is described as being in her 20s or 30s with dark hair, approximately 5’3” tall, and weighing 140 pounds. Police say that she had no tattoos.

Investigators are asking for anyone with information regarding the possible identity of the woman to contact the Illinois State Police Zone 7 in Effingham at 217-342-7853.
