Vigo County Sheriff’s Department Computers Hit By Malware

VIGO COUNTY, Ind. – Computers in the Vigo County Sheriff’s Office have been hit by a virus.

A press release says that the sheriff’s office computer operating systems were infected with a malware virus over the weekend and their IT Department is currently working on fixing the issue.

Sheriff John Plasse said there will be no interruption of law enforcement services.

The release says you may notice a delay in email response from sheriff’s office employees.
