VIGO COUNTY, Ind.  – The Scheid Diesel Extravaganza gets underway today at the Wabash Valley Fairgrounds.

The two-day event features truck pulls, kiddie pulls, drag racing, and other contests.

Thousands attend the annual event that also brings many thousands of dollars to the Valley.

Tickets for each day cost $40 per person.

Children 12 and under get in for free and tickets are cash only at the gate.
