KNOX COUNTY, Ind – Sunday (8/25/19) night just before 11:00 p.m. Indiana State Police clocked a driver on US 41 near Vincennes for driving 95 mph.

The driver was identified as 44 year old Darrell Cannon.  The Trooper detected an odor of raw marijuana inside Cannon’s vehicle.

During a search of the vehicle a loaded handgun and marijuana was located.

Police say that Cannon did not have a license to carry a handgun and he had a prior conviction for carrying a handgun without a license.

Cannon was arrested and taken to the Knox County Jail.
