Some Indiana Schools Among The Best

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Several Indiana colleges and universities are among the best in the country, according to the new rankings from U.S. News & World Report.

The rankings are based on several factors, like graduation rate and performance, faculty resources, and social mobility.

The University of Notre Dame finished the highest among institutions in the state, ranking No. 15 in the nation. Purdue University is No. 57, and Indiana University is No. 79.

Valparaiso University and Ball State University were also ranked in the Top 200.

Butler was named the top school for veterans, and the sixth best for undergraduate teaching.

Also, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, has for the 21st consecutive year has been ranked as the top of U.S. engineering college focused on bachelor’s- and master’s-level education.
