TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The proposed 2020 Terre Haute Budget talks will continue tonight at a special city council meeting at 5:30 in City Hall.
The proposed 2020 budget is larger than last year’s budget at just over $97 million.
Mayor Duke Bennett, the city comptroller and the council will go over the proposal.
The Mayor says that it is a balanced budget with more money coming in than will be spent by the end of the year.
There will be a chance for the public to comment.
The council is expected to act on the budget at the regular October meeting.
