INDIANA – County by county unemployment numbers have been released for August and Vermillion County is again at the top of the list.
Vermillion is tied with Fayette with an unemployment rate of 4.7%
Other local counties in the top ten include Vigo County at number four with an unemployment rate of 4.1%.
Clay County is ninth at 3.8%.
Greene County is tenth also at 3.8%
Parke County is at 12th and Sullivan County is at 13th each with an unemployment rate of 3.8%.
Putnam County 16th at 3.7%.
