VIGO COUNTY, Ind – A busy Monday for the Vigo County School Corporation.

Just a day before Election Day and the final votes on a $7 million referendum, the Vigo County Board of School Trustees and the Superintendent will meet in a Public Work Session to review the proposed spending cuts totaling $5.5 million dollars. That meeting starts at 5:00 p.m.

Then at 6:00 p.m. there will be a public hearing for additional appropriation along with a review and discussion of general obligation bonds.

There is also a regular school board meeting that will start after the public hearing.  It is possible that there could be some action on the proposed budget cuts, but they won’t be approved since that is not on the agenda.

All meetings take place at the administration building at 7th and Wabash Ave.
