PUTNAM COUNTY, Ind – A Brazil man has been arrested after an Indiana State Police criminal investigation last month.
Troopers say that they received a tip about a 14-year-old female that had been sexually abused.
Police say that the investigation shows that 21-year-old Justin M. Gardner, of Brazil, allegedly had been engaging in sexual misconduct with a minor.
After reviewing the investigation, the Putnam County Prosecutor’s Office requested an arrest warrant for Gardner.
He was arrested Wednesday (12/04/19) afternoon in Clay County.
He is currently being held in the Putnam County Jail without bond on charges of:
- Sexual Misconduct with a Minor, Level 4 Felony (3 counts)
- Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor, Class A Misdemeanor
