VIGO COUNTY, Ind – Around 12:25 p.m. Wednesday afternoon Indiana State Police responded to a two vehicle accident on State Road 46 at the westbound Interstate 70 on-ramp, which sent three to the hospital.

The preliminary crash investigation shows that 54 year old Julie A. Corbin, of Linton, attempted to turn onto the westbound on-ramp of Interstate 70 fro SR 46 when she did not see a pickup, traveling east on State Road 46, driven by 40 year old Heather E. Sherman, of Terre Haute and turned in from of her.

Corbin’s car was hit on the passenger side and made a complete spin.

Corbin, a passenger in her vehicle, and Sherman were all taken to Regional Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Corbin was cited for failure to yield.

Drugs and alcohol are not a factor in the accident.
