TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – A Terre Haute man has been found guilty of shooting and killing his friend in 2018.

On Thursday afternoon, a jury found Dylan Morgan guilty of murder and altering the scene of a crime. He was found not guilty of reckless homicide.

In August last year police went to a home on Cleveland Avenue.

Morgan has apparently argued with 18-year-old Gage Eup about music that was playing.

He retrieved a gun, removed the magazine and then pointed the gun at Eup and pulled the trigger shooting him in the face.

Morgan had at first told police that Eup had shot himself.

Morgan’s sentencing is set for January 27.
