GREENE COUNTY, Ind. – A crash Monday near the intersection of SR 46 and CR 1000 W in Greene County has left one person dead and another in the hospital.

Police say David Combs was driving west when he failed to stop at a stop sign on 1000 West and collided with a car driven by Gina Scott who was unable to stop in time. The two vehicles flipped and landed in a field.

Police say Combs was not wearing a seatbelt and died from his injuries.

Scott was airlifted to an Indianapolis hospital.
