TERRE HAUTE, Ind.  — One was seriously hurt in a Sunday morning fire in southern Vigo County.

It happened around 10:30 at the Trail’s Edge Apartments near Davis Drive.

A woman inside the apartment was flown to a hospital in Indianapolis for smoke inhalation and was last reported in critical condition.

The cause remains under investigation and fire fighters said there were no working smoke detectors.
