TERRE HAUTE, Ind – A Terre Haute man facing several charges including attempted murder was in court Thursday.
52-year-old Paul Aubin had allegedly stolen a car and was seen acting suspicious in the Wyndham subdivision on the city’s east side on the morning of December 25th.
A resident tried to stop Aubin.
Aubin then allegedly tried to run that person down injuring him.
The resident fired a handgun at the car, striking Aubin, who has been in the hospital since. He was booked into the Vigo County Jail on Wednesday (1/8/20).
Aubin has been charged with felony aggravated battery, auto theft, theft and counterfeiting, as well as misdemeanor theft.
