VERMILLION COUNTY, Ind – Just after 9:00 p.m. Thursday evening Vermillion County Deputies were called to the Corner Stop gas station in Fairview about a man slumped over behind the wheel of the vehicle.
Officers say that they found 37-year-old Matthew M. Boudreau, of Marshall, IL and that there was a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.
Bourdreau agreed to take sobriety tests on scene which indicated that he was under the influence.
Police say that a chemical test showed that Bourdreau tested positive for benzodiazipines, cannabinoids, and cocaine.
During a search of his vehicle deputies discovered drugs and drug paraphernalia. Police found fentanyl, cocaine, and heroin. A THC vape pen was also recovered during the search.
Bourdreau is being held in the Vermillion County Jail on on $10,000 bond and faces multiple felony charges.
