VIGO COUNTY, Ind. – First responders from the Sugar Creek Fire Department were called out around 9:30 p.m. Monday evening to rescue a man and his dog.

Rescue workers say that a man and his dog became stuck in about four feet of water on South Lake Road just south of West Terre Haute.

No serious injuries were reported.
