TERRE HAUTE, Ind – Sunday morning (2/9/20) around 2:00 a.m. Indiana State Police stopped a car near 9th and Wabash for speeding.
Police say that the driver 26 year old Aaron D McDaniel, of Terre Haute was acting suspiciously and a search of the vehicle was conducted.
Troopers found marijuana and a handgun for which he did not have a license.
Police also say that McDaniel showed signs of impairment but refused to take standard field sobriety test and also to a certified chemical test.
He was arrested and taken to the Vigo County Jail on multiple charges.
