Two Injured In Saturday Morning Crash In Sullivan County

SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind – Two southern Indiana women were seriously injured Saturday morning, in a crash on SR 159 near CR 600 South.

Around 6:00 a.m. Sullivan County Sheriff’s Dispatch received a 911 call from a passerby, reporting the single vehicle crash.

Police say that a car being driven by 20 year old Destany Osborne of Tell City failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the road and struck a tree.

Both Osborne and her passenger – 20 year old McKenzie Dunn of Velpen, Ind were seriously injured.

Both were transported to Terre Haute Regional Hospital.

Police say that seatbelts were worn and airbags did deploy.

Toxicology results are pending.
