VIGO COUNTY, Ind – A Vigo County man was killed in a truck train accident just before noon Saturday (2/15/20).

Vigo County Deputies were sent to the railroad crossing at Cottom Drive and Stout Street, in southern Vigo County.

Officers say that a truck that had been struck by a train.

The driver, 67 year old Bryce Vilchuck of Pimento died as a result of injuries suffered in the crash.

No train personnel were injured in the crash.

According to CSX, the lights at the crossing were operational at the time of the crash.
