VIGO COUNTY, Ind – Friday morning around 10:00 a.m. first responders were called to a crash between two semi tractor-trailers on I-70 westbound at the eleven mile marker.

Indiana State Police say that the crash investigation shows that 31 year old  Brandon S. McCullough, of Terre Haute, was driving a semi-tractor-trailer westbound in the driving when he failed to recognize how quickly he was closing on another truck in the same lane, driven by 32 year old Zaryonla T. Cheyee of South Bend.  McCullough became distracted by pouring a drink into a cup and rear ended the other truck.

Cheyee was taken to Regional Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

McCullough was cited for speed too fast to avoid collision.
