TERRE HAUTE, Ind  – On Monday, Vigo Superior Court, Division 1, Judge John Roach sentenced Dylan Morgan to a fifty-five years in prison.

The 22 year old Morgan was found guilty of murder and altering the scene of a crime but not guilty of reckless homicide, in connection to the August 2018 shooting death of 18 year old Gage Eup.

When authorities responded to a home on Cleveland Avenue in Terre Haute, police say Morgan told them that Eup shot himself.

The police investigation later showed that was not what happened.

Morgan could ask for a sentence modification after serving 45 years.
