BRAZIL, Ind. – A Brazil man is facing a misdemeanor voyeurism charge.
A report from Brazil City Police says that 67 year old Frank Kiefer was found by the father of a 17 year old girl, outside of his Brazil home looking in his daughter’s bathroom window as she showered.
The father said that when he approached Kiefer and asked what he was doing, Kiefer responded that he was looking for his dog.
Detectives reviewed security camera video that showed a man leaning against the same window. Kiefer admitted to police that it was him in the video. He said that while walking his dog, he looked in the direction of the window but denied looking in the window.
The family told police that they had been neighbors for about 14 years.
Kiefer was seen wearing a blue “St. Vincent coat” at the time of the incident.
News 10 reports that Kiefer once worked for St. Vincent Health as a Physician’s Assistant but officials told them that he has not been employed with them since January 2019.
Zach Clapp with the Clay County Prosecutor’s Office said that an initial hearing in the case is set for April 13th.
Kiefer is free until his court date but has been ordered to have no contact with the alleged victim or the family.
