TERRE HAUTE, Ind – Long time Terre Haute businessman and philanthropist Lu Meis has passed away.
He and his family owned the Meis stores, The Bottom Half and at total of over 125 across the Midwest.
He and wife Laney gave generously to many causes.
Lu Meis was 85.
Visitation will be Sunday from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Indiana State’s Scott School of Business the memorial service will immediately follow.
