Man Hurt When He Falls Through Railroad Tracks

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – A man is hurt after slipping through railroad tracks over the Wabash River in Terre Haute.

Around 3:30p.m. Terre Haute Police Public Information Officer Ryan Adamson said that officers responded to the Wabash River after a Terre Haute man fell off the train track bridge into the river.

The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

He was cited for trespassing.

Police remind you that it can be dangerous to play on or cross the train bridges.
