CLAY COUNTY, Ind. – A Clay County man was taken to an Indianapolis hospital after a crash in Clay County just after noon Wednesday.

It happened on U.S. 40 near County Road 300 West.

James Woods told police that a vehicle malfunction caused him to go off the road.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
