Sanitary Project On Hold

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – There’s another delay in a multi-million dollar sanitary project on Terre Haute’s south side.

Crews found an oily film and smell while working on a main lift station.

Contaminants were found after testing.

Now a firm has been chosen to de-water the area and that could take up to 14 months.

No word yet on what the cost might be.

The sanitary board will have to give final approval.
