VIGO COUNTY, Ind.  – A man is facing charges after crashing into a utility pole Tuesday morning in Western Vigo County.

20-year-old William Allsup of West Terre Haute was arrested after crashing and knocking down several power lines around 4:00 a.m. at 447 North Thorpe Place. That’s near Bethesda Cemetery.

Allsup faces charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, illegal possession of alcohol, and leaving the scene of an accident.
