Terre Haute’s First Coronavirus Patient Quarantined, Recovering

TERRE HAUTE, Ind.  – Union Health has confirmed the first known case of COVID-19 in Vigo County.

The announcement came Thursday evening.

Union Hospital officials say that the patient is from Terre Haute, and has been self-quarantined leading up to testing results. The patient is recovering at home while remaining quarantined.

Officials say that there are several other tests that are pending but say that you should not panic.
