Sondra Lou Trout

Sondra Lou Trout, 84, of Brazil, passed away March 29, 2020 at Cloverleaf Healthcare Facility after a seven month stay. The family would like to thank the staff of Cloverleaf for their excellent care. She had a stroke two years ago and has had many health issues during this time.

She was born July 19, 1935 in Indianapolis, the daughter of Thomas and Josephine Ziegler Temperly. She graduated from Southport High School, Class of 1954.

Sondra was united in marriage with Larry Trout on May 18, 1968. She enjoyed working with her husband in several business ventures. She did the bookkeeping and business development. In the past she enjoyed antiquing, collecting cookbooks, going to auctions and traveling. She found great joy in spending time with her daughter and their many adventures together. They would shop, go out to different restaurants and just have fun together. Larry has been a devoted husband through the years and spent several hours with her each day at Cloverleaf, helping in any way he could. She will be remembered as a beautiful lady, who enjoyed looking her best, and found joy in many things.

Sondra was a lady who loved animals. She had her special dog, Biffy, who passed away four years ago. She would feed any animals that came to her yard, including skunks and raccoons. She and Larry have welcomed the neighbor’s dog into their lives, and he will continue to keep Larry company.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Josephine Temperly and one brother Jon Temperly.

Survivors include her husband Larry Trout of Brazil; her daughter DeAnn DeBoer and Jan Gambill of Terre Haute; sister and brother in law, MeLinda and Chet Ward of Luxemburg, WI; one niece, Meredith Anderson and her family of Springfield, IL; other extended family and friends.
