CLINTON, Ind – Friday was the last day for a Wabash Valley newspaper.

The Daily Clintonian first published in 1936.

The coronavirus pandemic has caused a severe drop in advertising.

Readership has also been declining as it has with many newspapers.

Economics made it impossible to continue publication.

The Clintonian has been for sale for over a year.

Clinton Color Crafters which is the corporation that owns and prints the Clintonian will continue.
