John A. Pick, 73, of Terre Haute, passed away Sunday April 19, 2020 in his residence surrounded by his family. John was born September 9, 1946 in Detroit Michigan to Edward Pick and Emma Townsend Pick. He retired from management, he loved to fish, visit casino’s, flowers and working in his garden. Most importantly he loved spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brothers and sisters; Herman Schnider, Bill Schnider, Edward Pick, Ethel Romono, Bob Schnider and Ginger Blount. He was also preceded in death by two grandsons; Michael Andrew Pick Wendland and Daniel Pick. He is survived by his wife, Laverne Wisniewski Pick whom he married May 1, 1965 of Terre Haute. He is survived by three sons; Michael Pick (Phyllis Bucklew), David Pick and Jeff Pick. He is survived by one daughter, Diane Pick (Dan Madaus). He is survived by grandchildren; Carrie Pick, Amber Heldenbrand, Darek Pick, Benjamin Pick, Stephanie Pick, Nikki Heldenbrand, Heather Bucklew, Hillary Hester, Dawn Pick,  Katelyn Pick and Mario Combs. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A private family viewing will be held followed by a graveside service at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday April 22, 2020 at Mount Pleasant Cemetery where burial will follow. Pastor Ric May will officiate.
